The service

Discipline beats timing, almost every time

A SIP is not a product. It is a payment instruction that removes the hardest part of investing: deciding, every single month, whether now is a good time. Over a full market cycle, the investor who kept contributing usually does better than the one who waited for clarity.

We register SIPs, set step-ups that track your income growth, restructure them when circumstances change, and flag mandates before they fail. Each SIP is mapped to a named goal, so you always know which instalment is working for which purpose.

  • SIP registration across schemes and AMCs, from ₹500 a month
  • Annual step-up so contributions rise with income
  • Each SIP mapped to a named goal, not a general pool
  • Mandate and bank failure alerts before an instalment misses
  • Pause, modify or restructure whenever your situation changes

How it runs

What actually happens, step by step

1

Decide the amount

Work backwards from the goal, not forwards from spare cash. The goal calculator on our site gives a first estimate; we refine it with your actual commitments.

2

Register the mandate

A one-time e-mandate or NACH authorisation is registered with your bank. After that, instalments are debited automatically on your chosen date.

3

Set the step-up

A 5–10% annual increase keeps the SIP growing with your income. Set once, it compounds quietly for years without further paperwork.

4

Map to a goal

Every SIP carries a goal label — education, home, retirement. When the goal arrives, you know exactly which folio funds it.

5

Watch for failures

Bounced instalments are the commonest reason plans quietly break. We monitor and flag them, so a temporary balance issue does not become a stopped SIP.

6

Review, do not restart

At review we check whether the amount still matches the goal after inflation. Increasing an existing SIP is almost always better than starting a new one elsewhere.

Common questions

Questions we get asked most

Most schemes accept ₹500 per month, and some accept ₹100. The amount matters far less at the start than the habit does — a small SIP that runs for fifteen years beats a large one that stops in year two.

Yes. An open-ended scheme SIP can be paused or cancelled at any time; there is no penalty. ELSS instalments can be stopped too, though units already bought stay locked in for three years each.

No. A SIP is only the mode of investing — a fixed amount at fixed intervals. The scheme you choose is a separate decision, and it is the one that determines the risk you carry.

Falling markets are when a SIP buys the most units for the same rupee. Whether you should continue depends on your horizon and cash flow, but stopping purely because prices fell defeats the mechanism you signed up for.

Materially more than most people expect. Our step-up calculator lets you compare a flat SIP against one rising 10% a year over the same period — the difference over twenty years is usually striking.
