The right scheme for every goal

Our services describe how we work; this shelf lists what you can actually invest in — mutual fund schemes from more than forty asset management companies. Nothing else is sold from this office.

The shelf

Categories first, schemes second

SEBI's categorisation framework defines what each type of scheme may hold. We use it as the first filter, because getting the category wrong costs far more than picking the second-best scheme inside the right one.

GrowthEquity market growth chart

Equity Mutual Funds

Large cap, flexi cap, mid cap, small cap, focused, value and sectoral schemes — for goals five to seven years out and beyond, where growth has to do the heavy lifting.

Risk: Very High risk. Falls of 30–40% have happened and will happen again.

Debt Mutual Funds

Liquid, ultra short, low duration, money market, short duration, corporate bond, banking & PSU, gilt and target maturity schemes — for parking money and for shorter goals.

Risk: Low to Moderately High. Not risk-free: interest rate and credit risk both apply.

BalancedA balanced hybrid portfolio

Hybrid Funds

Aggressive and conservative hybrid, balanced advantage, multi asset allocation, equity savings and arbitrage — equity and debt blended inside a single scheme.

Risk: Moderate to High, depending entirely on how much equity the scheme holds.

ELSS (Tax-Saver) Funds

Equity Linked Savings Schemes eligible for deduction under Section 80C of the old tax regime — the shortest lock-in among all 80C instruments at three years per instalment.

Risk: Very High. It is an equity fund first and a tax instrument second.

Low CostIndex tracking on a screen

Index Funds & ETFs

Passive schemes tracking Nifty 50, Sensex, Next 50, midcap and smallcap indices, plus a growing set of factor indices — simple, low-expense building blocks.

Risk: Very High. Lower cost removes fund-manager risk, not market risk.

Long TermA retired couple walking together

Solution-Oriented Funds

Retirement funds and children's funds, which carry a statutory lock-in of five years or until the goal event, whichever is earlier. The lock-in is the point, not a penalty.

Risk: Moderately High to Very High, depending on the underlying allocation.

Liquid & Overnight Funds

For an emergency reserve or money awaiting deployment — same-day or next-day redemption on most schemes, with an instant redemption facility up to prescribed limits.

Risk: Low to Low-Moderate. Suitable for days and months, not years.

DiversifyGold as an investment

Gold & International Funds

Gold ETFs, gold fund-of-funds and overseas fund-of-funds — assets that often move differently from Indian equity, used as a small diversifier rather than a core holding.

Risk: High. Currency and overseas market risk apply on top of the asset itself.

Our promise

Suitability first, your interest always

We distribute schemes from across the industry, which means we are never tied to a single fund house. No AMC pays us to prefer it, and no employee here earns a sales incentive.

Before you sign anything, you will be shown the working — the category logic, the expense ratio, the lock-in and the risk band — in plain language, in line with the AMFI Code of Conduct.

  • Schemes from 40+ asset management companies, across every SEBI category
  • Selection driven by our written SOP, never by commission
  • Full transparency — see our Commission Disclosure
  • Risks explained before returns, every single time

Riskometer

Every scheme carries a riskometer

Each mutual fund scheme must display a riskometer at one of six levels — Low, Low to Moderate, Moderate, Moderately High, High and Very High — reviewed and disclosed monthly by the AMC. Before you invest in anything through us, you will be shown where that scheme sits and how it compares with the risk band recorded in your own profile.

Risk bandTypically found inSuggested minimum horizon
Low / Low to ModerateOvernight, liquid, ultra short, money marketDays to 1 year
ModerateShort duration, corporate bond, arbitrage1–3 years
Moderately HighHybrid, balanced advantage, gilt3–5 years
High / Very HighEquity, sectoral, thematic, small cap, ELSS5–7 years and beyond

Horizons above are broad guidance for discussion, not a recommendation. Actual suitability depends on your own circumstances, and the Scheme Information Document is the governing document in every case.

We distribute regular plans. Regular plans carry a higher expense ratio than the direct plan of the same scheme, and the difference is what pays our trail commission. Direct plans are available to every investor straight from the AMC or through SEBI-recognised platforms, without distributor support. See our Commission Disclosure for the full picture.

Not sure which category fits you?

That is exactly what a conversation is for. Send us your horizon, your goal and your comfort with volatility, and we will walk you through the category logic before any scheme name comes up.

Mutual Fund investments are subject to market risks. Read all scheme related documents carefully before investing. Past performance is not indicative of future returns, and there is no assurance of returns or capital protection.
